Midcentury Modern sterling silver desk box. Rectangular with straight sides. Cover hinged with gently curved top and molded rim. Box interior cedar-lined and partitioned. Fully marked including stamp for Andrew A. Taylor, a Newark maker active from the 1930s to 1970s, and no. 455. Very good condition.
