Description
Large hand-blown glass vase with orange, pink and white sections with purple, blue, and yellow accents by Anzolo Fuga for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy, 1955-56. The scale and artisanship of this vase is impressive. Anzolo Fuga was the master stained glass artist on Murano and his pieces often incorporate mesmerizing colorful “windows”.

Provenance:
Evan Lobel purchased this piece directly from A.V.E.M. in 2001 as part of a large collection of art glass pieces stored there from the 1940’s, 1950’s and 60’s. -
