Pair of traditional sterling silver 3-light candelabra. Made by Elgin Silversmith Co. Inc. in New York, ca 1950. Raised socket on stepped foot to which are mounted two scrolled and reeded arms, each terminating in single socket. Sockets bellied urn form. Arms have threaded plug set in vasiform socket on domed foot. For a casual elegant dinner party as well as handy in a blackout. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 196. Very good condition.
