Description
Hand-blown amber glass vase from the "Anse Volante" series, iridized with large handle, by Giorgio Ferro for Arte Vetraria Muranese or A.VE.M., Murano Italy, 1952. This series was exhibited with great success in 1952 at the XXVI Biennale di Venezia.

Evan Lobel purchased this piece directly from A.V.E.M. in 2001 as part of a large collection of pieces stored there from the 1940’s, 1950’s and 60’s. -
