Pair of Italian portoro marble and bronze obelisks, gold lion -Grand Tour collection-
produced by Lorenzo Ciompi, 2017 designed, produced and executed directly in exclusivity for Compendio gallery on limited edition of 10.
Extremely rare portoro marble, bronze details all the bronze details was made expressly from a important roman bronzist from original cast model by Bottega Valadier and others neoclassic models-end XVIII°century.
Peak cover, lions, acanthus leafs, four bronze pedestial ona shape of winged lions, verso base, others details very good gold bronze patina.

Lorenzo Ciompi is a private collector with a wide experience in Italian design achieved starting from the beginning of the 90's. His collection includes famous items designed by Gio Ponti as well as other well-known Italian designers such as Ico Pairisi, Osvaldo Borsani, Carlo De Carli , Carlo Mollino, Melchiorre Bega, Joe Colombo. A lot of furniture items projected by these designers were published on important magazines such as AD, The World Interiors, Elle, Domus.
