Description
Pair of English silverplate candlesticks from the late nineteenth century in columnar form distinguished by their stepped, square bases, fluted columns and finely detailed Corinthian capitals. With their original bobeches, finely polished with felt underneath, ready to display and use. Each 5 inches wide and deep, and 12 3/4 and 12 3/8 inches tall respectively. Each with the mark of the maker, JP & Co. of Sheffield.
