Description
Bottle-shaped vase in copper with an enamelled surface by Paolo De Poli. The color gradient transitions gracefully from red to white, demonstrating De Poli’s masterful command of the enamelling technique for which he achieved international acclaim. A similar bottle exists as part of a group of nine models, Series of Nine Models – Homage to Manhattan, made in 1967 for De Poli’s solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Crafts, New York. Lit.: Paolo De Poli – artigiano, imprenditore, designer.
