Description
This is a characteristic large scatter from the Rafsanjani subtribe of the SE Persian Afshar's. Note the subfield with a color diagonal effect of linked palmettes, and the encompassing dark blue field filled neatly within tiny botehs. The salmon border shows a meander and palmette design popular across Persia. The outer dark blue stripe features a meander with adhered profile palmettes resembling those of the field. All wool construction, medium heavy handle. Good condition.
