Description
This extremely solid and robust, well-woven Kurdish city scatter presents a navy field with a cartouche lattice enclosing botehs, palmettes, ragged rosettes and tall polygons. Reversing turtle palmettes decorate the red, strip style main border. Rare, if not unique allover pattern. Garrus work, but not the usual Garrus forked arabesque design. Medium weave, quality pile of the best Kurdish tribal wool.
