Description
The navy field of this all wool construction, leathery handle, east Caucasian long rug (kellegi) hosts four squarish cartouches in red, ivory, dark blue- green and burnt salmon. Lozenges with long arms decorate each panel' x s centre. Smaller octagons line the field ends and fill in along the sides. Ivory ground slanted leaf and Y-shaped calyx main border, and red star and oblique bar inner stripe. Clipped shortish pile. Good condition.
