In the Talish style, this SW Caucasian rug shows an abrashed open green field, with a red main border of bug-like polychrome palmettes totally in the Kazak style. Inner cream border of simplified stars and outer ecru stripe with fringed squares, floating curled leaves, and a faceted tendril. Visible field spot repilings. A rare and attractive example withal.
