Description
A seemingly unique west Persian scatter woven on cotton short warps, with a design of three floral swags above, a verdantly leafing central plant, and forked, barbed arabesque strapwork corners, all on a cream ground, within a narrow near black rosette patterned border. Probably always meant to be a wall hanging. Medium weave. Good condition.
