Description
A ragged teal medallion with closely attached voluted vasiform pendants centres the ecru field with serpentine strapwork arabesques above and below. Unusual concave teal corners. Navy border with small cloud band modules naked or enclosed in open acanthus frames. Imaginative, well-woven village scatter from Arak Ajam province in western Persia. Cotton foundation. Good condition.
