Description
This classic NW Persian rustic kenare (runner) shows the characteristic deep indigo ground decorated by seven alternating lea green octogrammes and red/ivory hooked "shields", with small squares and stars as fillers. Red main border of stars and reversing stylized palmettes. A few areas of light wear. Excellent natural dye palette with yellow, salmon and medium blue accents. Good rustic weave on cotton foundation.
