Description
The dark blue field and fine, even weave characterizes early Interwar Sarouks from Mohajeran village. Here boteh-form large and smaller floral racemes develop from a central elliptical budding motif. The rose border features palmettes and recurved leaves. Good motif spacing in the field which will become more crowded as the 1930's come on. Leathery handle, good condition.
