Description
It is convenient to label all dark blue 20's Sarouks “Mohajerans", whether they originate in that well-respected village in Arak province or not. This solidly woven, good condition scatter shows an imaginative detached floral spray and leaf pattern around a narrow central lobed rose cartouche. Green, teal and various blues highlight the fantastic stems and flowers, while a red turtle palmette border effectively frames the whole.
