Central Persian city known for finely woven. room size and scatter rugs, with dominant reds and navy, and medallion patterns and swirling palmettes. Wool and a few silk pieces. Active since the 16th century, but with breaks, Revival began with Mohtasham (see below) in the 1880' x s. Generally medium-high prices.
