Description
The desirable and relatively rare sky blue indigo field steps at the corners to position the madder field with its royal blue palmette octogramme medallion and barred pendants. Ivory four palmette cruciform sub-medallion. Unusual cream border with a meander embracing cordiform flowers and split palmettes. Light blue and teal accents overall. A very attractive carpet with a very slightly reduced palette. Natural dyes and handspun materials. Moderate weave, but firm and solid. Good condition.
