A portmanteau for any hard-to-isolate SW Persian tribal style rug. Usually refers to Khamseh pieces, but may include Qashghai and Luri work. Such rugs usually turn up in the Shiraz city bazaar. The tribes live, work and migrate around the Shiraz area.
