This well-woven NE Caucasian niche-format scatter shows a dark blue field with several types of stylized large flowers in green, yellow, ivory and red, closely set, under a faceted arch with hands and animals, the two red ones with coiled tails. Ivory main border with chains of pointed rectangles. Inner carnation and outer star/bar minor borders. Intact upper end finish. Moderately fine weave, all wool construction. All natural dyes with attractive sky blue from indigo, yellow from vine leaves or weld. Desirable type in good condition.
