Description
With a composuite wool and silk pile, this very finely woven Turkish medallion scatter woven near Istanbul, shows a red, internally scrolled diamond medallion with double pendants of cartouche and quadrilobe forms. Green field with four flowering trees vigorously growing from the medallion, Extended red corners. Navy border with pale blue bent ogives alternating with turtloid cartouches. Silk warp. Good plus condition.
