Charming pair of Staffordshire cold cream or toothpaste jars with decorative lids. One lid features a shepherd wearing a feathered hat, red sweater, his crook by his side and tending his flock of sheep with his faithful dog against a canopy of trees in the background. The other lid depicts a shepherdess tending her sheep, holding her crook and petting her dog with a monument in the background among the trees. The lids sit on green bases with gilding aroung the rims and base.
