Antique 17th-century religious painting. Oil on canvas artwork depicting a trinity of warriors of the faith: Fermo, Proloco, and Rustico, beloved saints in Lombard tradition. At the center, Saint Proloco, dressed in episcopal robes, imparts a blessing to the two warrior saints flanking him, in a pyramidal arrangement of great balance and symbolic power reminiscent of the Lombard school.

In the background, behind a splendid curtain, we glimpse a city, likely Bergamo or Brescia. Artwork of remarkable pictorial quality, distinguished by the intense rendering of the faces, the exquisite draperies, and the details of the robes. A perfect painting for collectors of high-period sacred art, capable of ennobling classical or modern settings with elegance and solemnity.

Scenographic 20th-century frame in carved, gilded, and lacquered wood, with some signs of aging. The painting has already been restored with re-lining, replacement of the stretcher, and restoration of the color in small areas. Overall, in good condition. Interior size H 116 x W 89 cm.
