Very well executed oil painting of the Bay of Naples showing fishermen netting their catch with a smoldering Mount Vesuvius in the background. Signed R. Romano lower left. Circa 1935. Condition is very good. The painting is in a wooden gold frame in fine condition. Overall framed measurements are 23.5 by 27.5 inches

R. Romano was an Italian artist who specialized in seascapes and marines. His paintings have sold in major auction houses including Freeman’s in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
