Initialed, dated and numbered (l.r.): W. P. M. / 1839 / No. 100
York County, Pennsylvania
Watercolor, ink and gold paint on paper
8” x 9 7/8”, 10 5/8” x 12 5/8” with frame.
Over-all in excellent condition, uniform toning. Losses to paper lower left. Framed in a period blocked-corner painted and gilt stenciled frame.
