Description
A pair of Napoleon III kingwood freestanding open bookcases, each of oval form with four angled, fluted pilasters, the top and three shelves covered with tooled black leather, applied with moulded ormolu edging and ribbon-tied garlands, all raised on cabriole legs with acanthus sabots, one is fitted with a letterbox on the top shelf. French, circa 1870.
