An English secretaire/chest/desk in very good condition of George I period. The finish in figured burl walnut adds aesthetic beauty to the history of this piece acquired by Cosulich Interiors & Antiques from a collector in Yorkshire. Georgian wood furniture never forgets functionality, with a flap revealing an interior with a large writing surface and fitted with long and short drawers, a central door flanked by two pillars revealing secret hiding spaces, typical of that age.
