18th century rosewood commode with two short drawers over two long. Gilt bronze handles, and escutcheons decorated with sphinx's.
The front angles with gilt bronze masks on scrolling foliate-cast gently splayed feet. With a shaped breche marble top.
Stamped A. G. under the marble. France c. 1735.
