French 19th Century Walnut Empire Commode

Description
A handsome bookmatched walnut commode from France crafted during the 1830s. Composed in the Empire style. The apron houses a hidden drawer above a bank of three equally sized drawers below. Each drawer front is fixed with a pair of lustrous circular pulls and escutcheon depicting roses and a butterfly. Turned columns flank the drawers and have bronze capitals and bases.
