French 19th Century Walnut Louis Philippe Buffet

Sold Sold
  • Description
This incredibly well-maintained provincial Louis Philippe walnut buffet, c. 1830, is from the French countryside and retains a shine and patina only achieved by years of proper French polishing. It features a rectangular top with curved corners over a pair of professionally fabric-lined drawers in a solid French cadet blue and patterned cotton in the Arts and Crafts style. Below is a pair of beaded and inset paneled linen-lined doors which open to reveal a like-upholstered interior outfitted with a pair of graduated shelves and an interior light for plenty of storage and the ability to find what’s needed.
