Description
Designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar in 1945, this exquisite sideboard, model 4579, appeared in the 1997 exhibition "The Other Face of Modernism." With its bold brass hinges and pulls and its contrasting woods, the piece reflects an Asian aesthetic.
The center compartment features an adjustable glass shelf. The compartments on either side have a cutlery drawer above three additional drawers. A dowel fitted in the long lower drawer holds linens in place. -
