1940s Italian Pair of Antique Art Deco Design Scavo Golden Murano Glass Sconces
-
Description
Antique Italian pair of Venetian wall lights, of the late Italian Art Deco period, in a gold amber Murano glass, worked with the Scavo technique that gives them the appearance of excavated Roman stone. The glass has a lovely marble tone when lit. With the iconic Art Deco design of the half-moon bowl, they are accented with an outspread curved glass tail decorated with 2 small brass round accents, mounted on a hand-made brass support. Very good condition with small inconspicuous nicks on two of the side round knobs in white scavo Murano glass as per image.
Price is for the pair. -
