This 20th-century Italian chandelier is constructed in carved wood and finished in a soft, distressed paint typical of Italian decorative work from the period. The central baluster stem features layered, turned forms that anchor six pronounced scroll arms. Each arm terminates in a carved bobeche and candle-style light, creating a consistent and balanced profile. The painted surface shows controlled wear, exposing subtle wood tones at the edges and highlighting the depth of the carving without introducing excessive contrast.
