19th Century Tramp Art Rustic Wall Mirror, Handcarved, Austria ca. 1880
-
Description
Absolutely outstanding, rustic Tramp Art wall mirror from the late 19th century around 1880 in Austria. This very special handcrafted rural wall mirror impresses with its amazing looking variety of different elements: pyramid styled corners, interrupted by artfully designed, wooden applications in the middle parts of the frame. The so resulting, amazing looking patterns combined with its different carved notch cut bars, stained in beautiful varying shades of brown and black as well as the slightly protruding corners, makes this one of a kind antique mirror an absolute extraordinary example of Tramp Art art work. The mirror plate has been renewed during the restoration process. The backside is closed with a wooden plate and a hand-forged metal ring makes wall mounting easy. Another unusual, remarkable masterpiece in our highly demanded rustic Tramp Art wall mirror collection - coming in perfect restored condition.
