Lovely small Black Forest mirror from Austria, circa 1890. Artfully processed out of basswood, this frame shows unusual hand carved leaves designs and was combined with protruding corners. In line with the Black Forest theme the frame shows a very dark brown glazed surface. The mirror glass has been renewed during restoration. (The size of the visible mirror plate is 7" x 9.1").
