Description
Large clean-line mirror model no. 5012 in walnut with knife edge design by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb, American 1954 (label on back reads “Widdicomb Furniture Company” above stamped date and model number). The design of this mirror is simple and elegant. It is newly refinished. It can be hung both vertically and horizontally.
Reference:
Widdicomb fold out paper catalog from the 1950’s, there is a drawing of this model with the caption “5012 Mirorr (W)” with “W” meaning walnut. In the center of the foldout is a full page color photograph of this model mirror hanging in a bedroom scene, with a description noting the images were taken from House Beautiful magazine.
