Carlo de Carli armchair, model n. 802 manufactured by Cassina, Italy, 1954.
The wooden frame with foam upholstery rests on elastic ribbons.
The armchair was reupholstered and covered bicoloured with a white silk and a forest green velvet
the choice of covering this iconic armchair in two colors is a tribute to the choice of Gio Ponti who in 1965 chose this armchair for the furnishings of the Hotel Parco dei Principi in Rome, covering it with the same colors but with green alcantara and white similpelle.

A lot of furniture items projected by these designers were published on important magazines such as AD, The World Interiors, Elle, Domus.
