          Charlotte Perriand, French Mid-Century Modern, Four Meribel Dining or Side Chairs, France c. 1946
 
 A set of four early example Meribel chairs by Charlotte Perriand, made exclusively for the chalets of Meribel in France circa 1946. Each chair features curved backrests, straw seats, and a crosstie underneath. Appraised by Michael Jefferson, a private advisor of 20th Century art and design in 2024 at $24,000. We recommend each example by re-strung; our gallery can assist in restoration.
 
 Provenance: Part of the private collection of the co-founder of MDFG gallery in Brooklyn, NY.
