Description
Depth: 18.7" || E. W. Godwin in the style of. An Aesthetic Movement oak bedroom or side chair with circular turned finials and a row of three turnings to the upper backrest with square cross supports below. Just above where the back leg meets the original rush seat is a subtle turned detail which sits above the exaggerated curve to the back legs. The front legs unite to the back legs with six shaped stretchers. This chair has a close relationship to Godwin's side chairs he designed for William Watt.
