Description
Stunning lounge chair model 128 designed by one of the few female mid-century furniture designers Grete Jalk for France & Søn, Denmark 1960. This elegant shaped lounge chair is handcrafted in solid teak wood and the new cushions are newly upholstered with off-white Richwool fabric. The light upholstery looks great in contrast with the refined teak woodwork. It features two curved slats that adorn the open back of this beautiful chair with its organic shapes and clean lines giving it a stunning profile. With its refined sculpted armrests and intricate wood grain, it shows the clear and comfortable lines she was reputable for. In addition to the fact that the chair look amazing, it also sits very comfortable with great back support.
This well-crafted lounge chair is in excellent condition; newly upholstered and the wood is refinished with a high quality UV and water protective lacquer with preservation of authenticity. Marked with a metal manufacturer tag underneath the seat. An incredible catch for any modern home, office or interior. -
