Rustic 18th Century Stool
-
Description
A wonderful stool with extraordinary presence and character. The four chamfered legs through tenoned into the seat which shows serious evidence that the stool was used as a work table. Three iron mending plates hold the piece together and were clearly added by a local blacksmith.
The legs ash and the seat probably elm, and all of fabulous color and patina. -
