We present this elegant antique Italian chest of drawers dating back to the early 19th century, Empire period. An extremely refined chest of drawers, whose characteristics suggest that it was made in the cabinet-making workshops of northern Italy.

Made of fine light walnut solid wood and characterized by elegant linearity, two majestic columns on the sides decorate the front and add grandeur with the finely chiseled gilded bronze capitals. Two winged figures in gilded bronze create a refined accent above the columns. The sides have a small inlaid frame in light wood that decorates without being excessively sumptuous because the front must be the center of attention.

A chest of drawers with good capacity, equipped with three large drawers available for storage. Furthermore, a curious but functional internal feature is the presence at the bottom of the first drawer of a secret compartment that reveals two small drawers (see detail photo). You can use this little secret to discreetly store your most precious objects or memories.

The dresser is in excellent condition, it has been professionally restored with a conservative approach that has not erased the passage of time but has made the chest of drawers ready to be placed in your home in perfect ancient conditions.
