An elegant rare Mid-Century Modern teak secretary desk or vanity with mirror by famous Danish designer Kai Kristiansen for Torring, in Denmark. Featuring beautifully grained teak wood case and frame. The upper drop-down cabinet opens to reveal a large writing desk surface, with three small drawers, the center with a hidden small flip up mirror. The hidden mirror can be concealed allowing the desk surface to be used without the mirror. Two small shelves/paper dividers above. Below are three long and wide bottom drawers, each is adorned with stylish pulls. Sturdy legs provide stable support while conveying an airy “floating” effect. Clean lines and timeless style, this showstopper will be an enhancing addition to any interior and also blend beautifully with many décor styles. Ideal piece for a bedroom, living room, or entry.
Condition Report: Good original condition, solid and sturdy construction, minimal wear. The wood grain is naturally highlighted in a teak pattern throughout.
