Description
Greatly restored neoclassical Biedermeier dining room table in cherry solid wood form Southwest Germany, circa 1820.
Bright yellow, friendly cherry solid wood, hand polished with shellac (French polish).
Rectangular form with conical square tempered legs and ebonized trim band around the bottom of the legs.
One small side has a fake drawer front with brass knob. The pull-out mechanism underneath is made from oak solid wood.
Expandable on both sides, the extending plates slide under the main plate on felt. Same height when expanded or not; it is possible to expand only one side. Each Expansion gives spaces for up to 4 more people. Possible lengths are: 200 cm, 290 cm and 380 cm, hence space for easily up to 12 people (14-16 tight). Great depth of 86 cm, the height from bottom to the underside of the apron is 64 cm (legspace). -
