French 19th Century Walnut Vendange Table

Description
This beautiful walnut tasting table is a specialized folding table utilized at vineyards and wineries across Europe, providing a place to stop and taste their different vintages. The underside of the table houses the mechanism for bracing the top. Vendange (grape harvest) tables have this tilting ability so they can be stored in the narrow corridors found in wine cellars when not in use. This piece is French and from the 19th century.
