French 20th Century Marble Top Bistro Table
-
Description
Dimensions: 27 ¼” H x 61 ¼” W x 31 ⅝” D
French, early 20th century bistro table with a most unusual violet marble top to become the focal point of a patio, kitchen, or small dining room. The oblong/oval slab is shaped to bowed edges that increase the surface area in expressive patches of light purple, beige, and taupe stone with painterly movement–becoming an element of the tablescape decoration. The black painted cast iron base is angular and architectural, receding beneath the top to make room for up to six small chairs. One could even use this as a center table.
