Description
Italian Baroque Walnut and Bone Inlaid Writing Bureau / Chest an impressive piece recently purchased from a local family that had it for many years and had inherited it from their grandparents. With rectangular top decorated with trailing flowers and birds over a serpentine slant lid desk section inlaid with central cherub and birds, opening to a fitted interior, the conforming ends of the top containing a drawer, with three long serpentine inlaid drawers raised on flattened bun feet. The sides with vase and floral inlay with cherubs. Nice rich patina in very nice condition.
