ITALIAN ROUND CREAM TRAVERTINE DINING OR CENTER TABLE ON A ROUND COLUMN BASE

Description
talian round top cream travertine dining or center table on a round column base. Variegated tones of cream and beige travertine marble, Italy, circa 1970. The top is honed and not shiny but sealed with a matte sealer. The base is more heavily veined than the top with incised grooves evenly placed down the column.
There are no chips or cracks. The top has been re-honed and re-sealed. Use as a dining table or center table.
The last photo shows the top still in its crate and how the top has a portion that sits into the pedestal base.
Overall size: 46.75" W x 46.75" D x 28.5" H. Plateau: 1" thick. Column base: 10" W x 10" D x 27.5" H. - More Information
