Description Sexy 1970s oval dining table for 8 by Italian Designer Osvaldo Borsani for Stow & Davis Furniture Company featuring a rich walnut starburst table top and stainless steel splayed arching legs. An incredibly well made piece, the table is a good example of Borsani's passion for combining strong quality architectural elements with softer and more intimate details. Here, the dining table's legs are strong - made of stainless steel - and heavy, yet they splay out ever so gently and almost float above the floor. The stainless steel reflects as well giving a feeling of lightness and transparency. The table top is warm and displays intricate wood working detail. The starburst pattern is impressive and adds contrast both in terms of wood tones but also when set atop the stainless steel legs. In terms of functionality, the table seats 8 guests and gives a circular and more intimate table vibe. This table would also be an excellent choice for use as a stylish and upscale conference or working table.
