Paolo Buffa elegant rare pair of tripod bedside tables or nightstands in rosewood with maple inlays and decorative bronze mounts, a single drawer with brass drawer pulls, and ending in bronze sabots, Italy, 1950s. These exquisite tables are in the Neoclassical style and exhibit meticulous craftsmanship and attention to details including maple geometric inlays on the aprons and drawers including Greek key design border on the tabletop sides and elegant bronze mounts, with lower single shelf, resting on square tapering legs with bronze sabots. The rosewood has a gorgeous rich grain and contrasts beautifully with the lighter maple inlays. These lovely bedside tables are simple , classic and modernist in their form, and exude luxury and refinement in any interior.
